Make an appointment online, by visiting our Consulting Room.

Every endeavour will be made for you to see the doctor of your choice. Please request a separate appointment for each person seeing the doctor. We do try to keep to time but unavoidable delays do happen and we ask you to be patient if you do have to wait.

Urgent Appointments

If your problem is urgent and cannot wait for a routine appointment, please call the practice directly and tell the receptionist. If you require a home visit, you should also contact the surgery directly.

The receptionist will find you a suitable appointment. Alternatively, a doctor or nurse may offer you telephone advice if that is not appropriate.

They will then ensure you are given advice, information or an appropriate appointment.

We meet the government requirement of providing an appointment with a doctor within 2 working days if requested but this may not be with the doctor of your choice.

Sick children can usually be brought to the surgery and are given priority, please telephone for an urgent appointment. If you are unsure whether your child should travel to the doctor, please ask the practice.

If you’re thinking of attending the hospital’s accident & emergency department, please first consider how the practice and other organisations may be able to help.

The practice treats a wide variety of illnesses and can now arrange X-rays for possible fractures (Monday – Friday) and our nursing team can dress simple cuts and treat other minor injuries. If you think we may be able to help you avoid a visit to A&E, please ask the practice if you can speak to the duty doctor or nurse practitioner for advice.

Cancelling Appointments

If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so online. This will then enable us to re-use the appointment slot.

Alternatively, you may phone the appointments telephone number.

Telephone Appointments

Some problems can be dealt with over the telephone, please inform us when requesting an appointment if you would like a telephone consultation.
