Care
A comprehensive maternity service is
offered with clinics four afternoons
per week.
If you are pregnant please make an
appointment to see the midwife who
will commence your antenatal care.
It is recommended that all women
trying to conceive take folic acid
tablets (0.4mg) daily to reduce the
risk of the baby having spina
bifida.
Health visitors
The health visiting team visit
pre-school children and provide
advice and information to parents.
A drop-in clinic is held on
Wednesdays between 9.30am - 12.00pm
at West Pottergate Health Centre (
Earlham Road) and on the first and
third Monday of each month 2.00pm -
3.15pm at Lakenham Surgery (1 Ninham
Street). Please ask a receptionist
how you can contact the team.
