How to see
your doctor
Appointments can be made at the
surgery or by telephone. Every
endeavour will be made for you to
see the doctor of your choice.
Please make a separate appointment
for each person seeing the doctor.
If you are unable to keep your
appointment please tell us as soon
as possible – someone else needs it!
We do try to keep to time but
unavoidable delays do happen and we
ask you to be patient if you do have
to wait.
Cancelling Appointments
If you need to cancel an appointment please either phone the appointments telephone number (01603 228 686) to advise reception, or email fran.fulton@nhs.net. This will then enable us to re-use the appointment slot.
Urgent Appointments
If your problem is urgent and cannot
wait for a routine appointment
please tell the receptionist when
you telephone.
The receptionist will find you a
suitable appointment; or a doctor or
nurse may offer you telephone advice
if that is not appropriate.
They will then ensure you are given
advice, information or an
appropriate appointment.
We meet the government requirement
of providing an appointment with a
doctor within 48 hours if requested
but this may not be with the doctor
of your choice.
Sick children can usually be brought
to the surgery and are given
priority; please telephone for an
urgent appointment. If you are
unsure whether your child should
travel to the doctor then please
ring for advice.

Appointments
Some problems can be dealt with over
the telephone; please advise the receptionist when you call.
They will take your phone number and
you will be contacted by an
appropriate member of the clinical
staff.
EXTENDED
HOURS
The practice is open on alternate Tuesdays and Thursdays 6.30pm to 8pm and on Saturdays 8am to 9.45am. These opening times are for GP pre-booked appointments only.
They are not for emergency treatment on the day. Saturday car parking is available locally - please ask the receptionist for details.
Please be aware we are changing our
'extended hours openings' week
commencing Monday 9th May ('Extended
hours' times are in addition to our
core opening of Monday - Friday
8am-6.30pm).
Pre-bookable Doctor appointments will now
be available:
Mon, Tues, Wed - 7.30am-8.00am
Mon, Wed, Thurs - 6.30pm-7.00pm
Saturdays - each Saturday from 8.00am to
9.45am
